Stand Up to Cancer!
Ever since my Mother was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in 2003, I have since spoken to others that know victims of this deadly disease. I guess I am more aware of it now and also read articles about them more and more. I just read an article about “Stand Up to Cancer” and believe it is a great thing. They are trying to create more awareness of the different types of cancer, plus involving more experts in public discussions. Research is key in trying to find a way to prevent and eventually eliminate the cancer completely. But research is expensive and they can use all the help they can get.
