Interesting article I read this morning regarding how the city of Chula Vista is handling non-maintained foreclosed homes. They are charging the banks $100-1,000 fee if they do not maintain the yard and any broken windows on their foreclosed homes. They claim these homes will drive down the value of the neighborhood if they do not maintain them. I wonder if this will put added pressure on the banks to sell these homes.
